AND AFTER BIOGRAPHY
And After… is quickly setting a positive standard for up-and-coming bands. The rock trio has launched an attack on the Midwest music scene armed with an arsenal of energetic and sophisticated songs. Each member brings their own influences together to create a unique and powerful sound that has quickly been winning over audiences, and bridging unlikely generation gaps.
The And After… story began in late 2008 with Greg Gustafson (guitar, lead vocals) and Paul Lindahl (drums) writing the songs that would soon become their first full-length release. Greg brought his former band mate Sean Lichterman (guitar, vocals) to finish writing “Our First Time”, recorded in Milwuakee WI. The three played many shows with bands such as Alkaline Trio, Taking Back Sunday, and Anberlin until Sean left for college in the summer of 2009.
The band went into hibernation until Greg and Paul decided to revive And After… and found Joshua Patterson (guitar, vocals) to replace Sean. In their first live performance with the new line-up, And After… won the 2010 College of Lake County Battle of the Bands. The trio embarked on a tireless schedule of writing, performing, and promoting. Most efforts have brought shortly celebrated successes, but the band continues striving to create unparalleled and unforgeable music that will certainly stand the test of time.
And After… returned to the studio in the Summer of 2010. The new songs received excellent reviews immediately after their release, but to experience all that And After… has to offer you have to witness their explosive live set. You can catch And After… on tour this Winter. Check www.myspace.com/andafter09 for band updates and tour dates
